“I photographed Andrea and Matt’s wedding at Stanlake Park in August 2019, and it was such a wonderful day. Mother nature was not at her kindest and we had quite a few showers throughout the day, but it did not spoil a fantastic wedding day.”
Bride Andrea got ready with her bridesmaids at a hotel in Reading before making her way over to this beautiful vineyard wedding venue. The ceremony was to take place in The Coach House which is a stunning space filled with natural light from the large windows all down one side and the wooden beams above are beautifully rustic. Inside The Coach House groom Matt chatted with guests as they took their seats, ready for his brides arrival.
The wedding car pulled up to The Courtyard and the bride stepped out being sheltered by an umbrella. Andrea beamed with joy as he walked down the aisle on her father’s arm, walking towards her fiancé. The ceremony was full of love and laughter, it was so clear how in love they were.
After the ceremony guests lined up and blew bubbles as the newlyweds exited The Coach House. Before the rain started, we were able to do some group photos in the Courtyard as well as The Walled Garden. As the rain got heavier and guests sheltered in The Coach House, I headed over to The Vineyard Barn. This space is so beautiful and full of rustic charm and the wedding breakfast table details were elegant and suited their surroundings perfectly.

Thankfully a short time later the heavy rain stopped, and it was time to do some photos of the bride and groom. At Stanlake Park I am spoilt for choice with beautiful locations for photos. The Walled Garden and The Vineyards themselves are so beautiful and I feel it is so important to include the unique features of a wedding venue in a couples photos.
After the wedding breakfast it was time for speeches, then the evening party began. The beauty of The Vineyard Barn means the band or DJ can set up at one end, while the wedding breakfast tables can remain out for guests to stay seated if they choose to.
As the evening drew in so did the heavy rain. I love creating creative night-time wedding photos and I wanted to incorporate the vineyards into that. The bride and groom were happy to go ahead in the rain and it was totally worth it as they loved the photo.
Stanlake Park is a beautiful vineyard wedding venue in Berkshire with rustic charm and beautiful indoor and outdoor locations. Andrea and Matt’s wedding was such a fantastic day and a pleasure to photograph.
